Maya spent ten years on crews where quotes arrived as one number and finish dates slid. Homeowners could not compare prices, and nobody could say when the job would end.

In 2014 she opened Larkspur to fix both problems. Every quote lists a price for each room. Every project has a start date and a finish date in writing.

The name comes from the larkspur, a tall flower spike that grows in every shade from rose to deep violet. The logo borrows that spike and builds it from dabs of paint.
